Brand Innovation: For the Retail division, of one of the largest CPG companies in the world, developed an innovation strategy from Ideation to product roll out.  The custom methodology is a combination of ideation setup, funneling analysis combined with an innovative and exhaustive NPD (new product development) process. This methodology is now being implemented in all brands of the company. The project resulted in over one billion dollars of potential revenue opportunities for the client in new products through innovation.

 

Product Innovation: For the Retail division, of one of the largest Chemical companies in the world, developed an innovation strategy from Ideation to product roll out.  The custom methodology is a combination of ideation setup, funneling analysis combined with an innovative and exhaustive NPD (new product development) process. The project resulted in over $200M of potential revenue opportunities for the client in new products through innovation and expansion of product line and markets.

 

Customer Innovation: For the Retail division, of one of the largest printing companies in the world, conducted a customer value analysis in order to identify opportunities to create differential value through new products and service.  The project included a value chain analysis, definition of customer economics, an identification of new products/services and a determination of permission to serve customers.   The project resulted in over one billion dollars of potential revenue opportunities for the client.

 

Customer Innovation:  For the world’s largest oil company, led an effort to define the customer value chain in their automotive plastics group.  Defined the customer value chain, identified all value chain participants, and modeled the profit pools.  The initiative also included modeling the shift in profit pools as  the client introduced proprietary non-commodity product offerings. 

 

Business Innovation:  For the largest provider of outsourced services to the federal government, assisted the organization with identifying an opportunity to create a new global business unit focused on providing global logistics service in a time-definite secure fashion to austere areas around the world.  Conducted a comprehensive market study in order to identify market size and segments, market participants and customer value requirements.  Led a process to define the business strategy and supporting model to enter the targeted markets. Developed a build/buy/partner strategy and led the identification and assessment of potential partners and acquisition targets.

 

New Customer and Business Innovation Strategy:  Conducted a strategic assessment and enterprise reengineering project for a large manufacturer of defense electronics.  The objective of the project was to develop a strategy to transition from a captive supplier of military electronics (PC Fab & Assy) to a manufacturer of commercial electronics.  Conducted customer value analysis  and competitive benchmarking.  Defined a market facing strategy.  Additionally, the organization and supporting processes were re-designed to support the new strategy.

 

 New Product Innovation: For an international publishing firm, redesigned and implemented a new product development process.  The process included selection criteria, economic justification, segmentation, positioning, measurement and tracking
